Meadowbrook Christian School

Evaluating daycare and extended care

Fictional example. School names, enrollment figures, activities, and results are mock data created to explain Arete services. They do not describe actual clients or verified outcomes.

Extended-care and summer-program feasibility

Meadowbrook Christian School is a fictional school with 195 students considering before-school care, after-school care, and a summer program. Its mock family survey finds 32 families interested in after-school care and 20 interested in summer programming. Because interest does not equal paid enrollment, the school requests Arete’s free assessment and a separately scoped feasibility review before committing staff or space.

In this sample engagement, Arete helps leadership examine mission fit, age-group needs, staffing coverage, available rooms, pickup procedures, and operating costs. Planning scenarios compare 15, 25, and 35 after-school participants rather than assuming every interested family will enroll. The resulting feasibility brief includes a budget worksheet, readiness checklist, and launch decision gates. Any future Diadem software discussion would require a separate readiness and scope review.

The mock recommendation is a limited after-school pilot only if the school secures qualified staffing, completes applicable licensing and local reviews, and confirms sufficient paid commitments under its approved budget. Summer programming remains a later decision. This illustrates how a school can move from general interest to an evidence-based launch decision without treating a survey as guaranteed revenue. No actual program launch, licensing approval, software availability, or profit is claimed.
